I'm writing to express my interest in applying for a teaching position, on the elementary level in your school. As my resume reveals, I will graduate from Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaiso in June with a Bachelor’s degree in Education and Psychology. In addition, I am in the process of obtaining my certification, which I expect to receive it in June.

My student teacher experiences afforded me the opportunity to assume all the responsibilities of an elementary teacher in most of the grade levels. I worked closely with several urban setting with a wide diverse student population in order to help them by providing the best possible education. In addition, I have a strong background in psychology which brings me a true understanding of many factors that affects the education of the little ones.

My practical experience has taught me how to build strong relationships with teachers and students. I feel confident and qualified to take on the challenges that teaching offers.
